Animation Outtakes

My teammates are Maddie Hosel, Denae Sacramid, and Jayse Matsuyama. Two interesting facts about Maddie is she's a hard working leader and she try's to have fun but when the time gets rough going through grading processes there are some tears here and there but she's really up beat and happy. Two interesting facts about Denae is she's really quiet but me and her make a pact in the group, she's really smart, she loves to talk. And two interesting facts about Jayse  he has a lot of focus into the project and he's a really hard worker, he likes to make fun jokes and he likes to have fun. And I really got to know all my teammates by doing this project and it was really fun.

Stop motion animation  is a type of technique that animators use in their movies to make it more interesting like the movie " Para-Normin" its this move with the greatest stop motion that I've ever seen. And for a gif its like a add but and technically you see it on many websites its like this moving picture but actually its little frames and its moving all at once in a repeating. Like the bouncing ball up above in the right top corner of my the the blog.

Our animation story is about over coming writers block. The main character is me and so I'll explain it more on the next blog post. But today in real life when any one including many great authors also have a hard time writing so my and my group wanted to tell is in a nonfiction way so people can understand you can go through many things in your head. Finally after that whole while of thinking you have a whole bunch of ideas and you just start writing this amazing story. You should care about our animation its because you can learn how you can get through a tough time while writing and also it's with a big twist that will amaze you.

Our Animation Story

P5T2 Julie Overcomes Writers Block from Kapaa Middle School MEDIA on Vimeo.

Our focus statement is "Julie Overcomes Writers Block". And it tells my story by, I have a lot of trouble in writing and it happens to many people. So our story is more like a non-fiction way of understanding it, so there's the main character which is me so in the beginning the teacher assigns a imagination essay and its due tomorrow and so Julie she was sitting in her chair thinking, then what we do is close up animation in her head or in her brain. And so herself inside is battling these paper soldiers with pencils as swords protecting the wall and so after awhile fighting the soldiers it has this big impact in real life she has a headache and so that effects the wall and so the wall blows up or collapses and the ideas flow out and she has this 2 page essay that is amazingly written.

The lesson that I think that people will learn from this is when people watch it ,it's more of a real life situation and so people will say "Oh wow I can do this". So I think our video will give them more confidence to free write and all that. And we'll so everyone has or may or may not have gone through it but for me I used to have a whole bunch of trouble writing my stories for my English class and so the whole story relates to me and everyone els in the world that has a problem in writing.

Finally my worst moment in our group was the two scenes teaser on that day we had our group leader she shed some tears but she was starting to grow more and more off of the 2/4 we got from but we boosted our grade to a 4/4 and our team leader was really happy. And the best moment was when we had the grading process and that's when one of my partners raised their hand and so when we got through that moment it was a sign of relief and we got a 4/4.I had so much fun working on the animation project and I got to learn more on the strengths and the weaknesses of my partners. Like Maddie she can focus and concentrate better when she's under pressure and for Jayse since he was the only boy in the group he tried his best to do all he can and he did, and Denae she especial she was a really hard worker and she communicated with us if she needed help.
