What part will your audience enjoy the most & why?
How does your MV show what you learned this year?

My two lovely teammates are Maddie and Kasiah. Maddie & Kasiah they both contribute a big amount like for me i'm the youngest in their group so they just put me in charge of the props and all that and helping set up the camera and just technically listen to what they say and all . So Maddie contributes by during all the heavy lifting also including Kasiah.

Well I think everyone will be very amused and thats because the whole point is we all are friends and so in the whole movie plan what we did was ke and maddie are the peole who are the ones who bully Kasiah and so we tease her but anyways she still keeps on doing her own thing and she shakes all the bad things out of her head and in the plans that we planed was she was the one being bullied but that would have been just really mean. And so wefilmedher just dancing around the halls and its really funny cause she doesnt know that shes that bad of a dancing.

Lyrical Livelihood

Well I have more than one favorite song so its just really had to pick one but all the songs on my playlist that I listen to are either love songs and the other categories are either someone playing contemporary piano, and todays hits. So well all the songs on my playlist they make me feel happy most of the sometimes sad and mostly loved but its just a weird feeling that get when I hear a certain song. But if I would have to chose my favorite song it would be "All I need" by Saiosai. Its a song about love & I listen to 24/7. And if I were to chose my favorite hit from today it would be Sam Smith "Lay me Down".

My teammates and I are choosing "Shake It off" and my teammates chose that song because they might be shy around some people but I worked with both off them and they both are make the biggest and take it over and beyond. Like for Kasiah I worked with her in the beginning of the year and even though our project wasn't chosen to be in the "Hiki No" episode she did the best that she could do to make it better than it was before. And for Maddie she was the one trying so hard to get that 4 she and our group needed and she did we all worked together from recess to lunch to any spare time in school. And so I can tell why they chose the song because their best friends forever and you can never separate them. So what i'm trying to say is they're very fun and spontaneous so they song that we chose is also is like that in a way.

So our song is Taylor Swift " Shake is off " and so our way were doing it is very different from the original version of Taylor Swift. So the way it relates to many people is everybody has something to hide and I think me and my teammates have been bullied at a point in time and I know in my mind that they're very confident in it so they just shake it off.
Okay so our story plan explains that One of us is getting bullied and so that would be Kasaiah and me and Maddie are playing the role as the bullies. So one of the shots were shooting is where me and Maddie start off is were the dancers who have been dancing for a long time  and then Kasiah all of a sudden jumps in and were in this big gigantic dance battle.

Animation Outtakes

My teammates are Maddie Hosel, Denae Sacramid, and Jayse Matsuyama. Two interesting facts about Maddie is she's a hard working leader and she try's to have fun but when the time gets rough going through grading processes there are some tears here and there but she's really up beat and happy. Two interesting facts about Denae is she's really quiet but me and her make a pact in the group, she's really smart, she loves to talk. And two interesting facts about Jayse  he has a lot of focus into the project and he's a really hard worker, he likes to make fun jokes and he likes to have fun. And I really got to know all my teammates by doing this project and it was really fun.

Stop motion animation  is a type of technique that animators use in their movies to make it more interesting like the movie " Para-Normin" its this move with the greatest stop motion that I've ever seen. And for a gif its like a add but and technically you see it on many websites its like this moving picture but actually its little frames and its moving all at once in a repeating. Like the bouncing ball up above in the right top corner of my the the blog.

Our animation story is about over coming writers block. The main character is me and so I'll explain it more on the next blog post. But today in real life when any one including many great authors also have a hard time writing so my and my group wanted to tell is in a nonfiction way so people can understand you can go through many things in your head. Finally after that whole while of thinking you have a whole bunch of ideas and you just start writing this amazing story. You should care about our animation its because you can learn how you can get through a tough time while writing and also it's with a big twist that will amaze you.

Our Animation Story

P5T2 Julie Overcomes Writers Block from Kapaa Middle School MEDIA on Vimeo.

Our focus statement is "Julie Overcomes Writers Block". And it tells my story by, I have a lot of trouble in writing and it happens to many people. So our story is more like a non-fiction way of understanding it, so there's the main character which is me so in the beginning the teacher assigns a imagination essay and its due tomorrow and so Julie she was sitting in her chair thinking, then what we do is close up animation in her head or in her brain. And so herself inside is battling these paper soldiers with pencils as swords protecting the wall and so after awhile fighting the soldiers it has this big impact in real life she has a headache and so that effects the wall and so the wall blows up or collapses and the ideas flow out and she has this 2 page essay that is amazingly written.

The lesson that I think that people will learn from this is when people watch it ,it's more of a real life situation and so people will say "Oh wow I can do this". So I think our video will give them more confidence to free write and all that. And we'll so everyone has or may or may not have gone through it but for me I used to have a whole bunch of trouble writing my stories for my English class and so the whole story relates to me and everyone els in the world that has a problem in writing.

Finally my worst moment in our group was the two scenes teaser on that day we had our group leader she shed some tears but she was starting to grow more and more off of the 2/4 we got from but we boosted our grade to a 4/4 and our team leader was really happy. And the best moment was when we had the grading process and that's when one of my partners raised their hand and so when we got through that moment it was a sign of relief and we got a 4/4.I had so much fun working on the animation project and I got to learn more on the strengths and the weaknesses of my partners. Like Maddie she can focus and concentrate better when she's under pressure and for Jayse since he was the only boy in the group he tried his best to do all he can and he did, and Denae she especial she was a really hard worker and she communicated with us if she needed help.

Typography Images

Typography is a type of picture like my last blog post it was "Double Exposure" and now its way different from that so like you take a portrait and it doesn't have to be you could take the picture at any angle or the way you want it to be. But it still needs to be a clear picture of someone. And in photo shop it has many weird tweaks and all that. So you need a giant block of text and all that so then you have to do even more tweaks. So continuing on it can make an impact on many things like so  for example like i'm going on a trip in April. And so that can be turned into a  Typography Portrait like I have to take many pictures and also like have to write a big block of text and so it has to be describing about what you did on the trip.

The most crucial thing is the whole thing and thats because the way the tutorials are supposed to fit into a 6th graders head is really difficult and I really am trying to catch up to the rest of the expectations that my teacher wants me to.So ill try my hardest to try and get my teacher portrait up and so I can get a grade for that. so during the next tutorial it was really easy and that's because our teacher he taught us step by step. So I caught on really fast and one of my favorite parts of the tutorial was doing the layer by layer and filling it in by word and my words really explain me.

And so finally I am really happy with my finished product I really love the way it looks and the other 2 the are really different if you compare them and thats because you have to do many different way on doing typography like the fist tutorial was really easy but for me I just caught on really slowly. So including the teacher typography I made a lot of mistakes and so I just had to redo all of it but I think the third tutorial was the easiest one for me to understand I caught along really easy and the steps are so simple so I really like the way it turned out and if I had a second chance what I would have done better is I wanted to try and redo the teacher typography that I would have done way better.

Double Exposed Portraits

Okay so a portrait picture is like so you know how people look to the sides and that technically a pose in the modeling world and so that is called a portrait or like a better definition would be a person(s) would be taking a picture of people(s) showing expression. And silhouetting its like almost taking a picture and but its more like a black out lining of someone and its filled in with black. And yes it is really similar to portrait photography your just doing a bigger and wider view of the person.(And to your right it my final practice double)
First you have take more than 1 picture of a textural figure like tree bark and that what I added to my stuff and the other picture that I took was a perspective of looking up a tree. And you also need a portrait which mentioned in my first paragraph. Then when you have to photos you enjoy you go to photo shop then you go to file "put photos in a bunch". Then so for your profile you would have to use the burn tool (which its to your left). Then when you done blocking all the stuff that you don't want and its completely white you crop it.(8.5 by 11, 300 pixels).

Then when your completely done with cropping you go to the settings or change the effect of you pic then you just go on blend mode then you change it to screen and you can turn down the opacity to match or the way you want it to look. Then if you want it to look more cool and more techie you you haTheve to go to the very top of your tab and and if you look very closely at the recent picture to your right and you look at the very top you can see that there are many word and so you would have to chose layer and so there are adjustment that you would see then you would want to click on new adjustment layer then you could customize it any way you want so like for my finished product in the multi double exposure I added a photo filter and a curve it and I really like the way how it turned out.

And finally my favorite part explaining what's in my final multi exposed okay so on the last time that we could've check out cameras was very stress full but I got a camera right on time and so I took many textural pictures and my main two that I picked was I took a picture of my hula implements and that would be of the ipu the hallow odd gourd, puili bamboo sticks, and the uli uils the feather and I chose to take a picture of that it's because hula has been apart of my life for 4 years and I love doing it. Then my second picture was of a

Pom tree and I chose to take a picture of that because in hula you have to be graceful like a Pom tree swaying in the wind and so that's why I took a picture of it. If I had to do it another time but 10 times better I would've token better quality like the place where I took the picture and for my profile I would've been taken better if my hair was down now it because it would have looked way better. And I could have done so much better with the effects on the whole thing but I didn't want times the whole thing up and it's because while I was exploring the effect on photo shop it didn't turn out the way I wanted it to and so I just left it the way I wanted it to.

HDR Photography

HDR photography means (high definition range) and its taking more than one picture and you have to try and not to move the camera, and so theres a button on a camera or you just have to look on the settings and you have to change the exposure compensation and you take more than one of the same thing. And so when your ready merge the pictures together you would use photo shop. I really like the lesson on the HDR and all the rest of the lessons to it was very cool that Mr. Sanderal that he takes the time and effort to tell us when we were doing the critiques it was nice. If I were able to use an HDR pic I would definitely use it and try to remember step by step.

Well yes it is very different its because well I think you have to take more than one picture and merge and the way it turns out I just love the way it looks it gives me the goose bumps. And when I did mine it turned the way my expectations hoped so like for instance the HDR on the right it took me about 30 minutes to and hour just trying to figure out what i should take a picture of and so yes its kind of cheesy but did the best I could.
And finally explaining why I took these pics but mostly I really love to superimpose and the reason why was I chose to do the superimpose like that is because I imagined it would turn out to be ugly but it technically I loved it and the rest of my picture the main point had to be surreal. And for me its very.
