Double Exposed Portraits

 Okay so a portrait picture is like so you know how people look to the sides and that technically a pose in the modeling world and so that is called a portrait or like a better definition would be a person(s) would be taking a picture of people(s) showing expression. And silhouetting its like almost taking a picture and but its more like a black out lining of someone and its filled in with black. And yes it is really similar to portrait photography your just doing a bigger and wider view of the person.(And to your right it my final practice double) 
First you have take more than 1 picture of a textural figure like tree bark and that what I added to my stuff and the other picture that I took was a perspective of looking up a tree. And you also need a portrait which mentioned in my first paragraph.Then when you have to photos you enjoy you go to photo shop then you go to file "put photos in a bunch". Then so for your profile you would have to use the burn tool (which its to your left). Then when you done blocking all the stuff that you don't want and its completely white you crop it.(8.5 by 11, 300 pixels).

Then when your completely done with cropping you go to the settings or change the effect of you pic then you just go on blend mode then you change it to screen and you can turn down the opacity to match or the way you want it to look.Then if you want it to look more cool and more techie you you haTheve to go to the very top of your tab and and if you look very closely at the recent picture to your right and you look at the very top you can see that there are many word and so you would have to chose layer and so there are adjustment that you would see then you would want to click on new adjustment layer then you could customize it any way you want so like for my finished product in the multi double exposure I added a photo filter and a curve it and I really like the way how it turned out.

And finally my favorite part explaining what's in my final multi exposed okay so on the last time that we could've check out cameras was very stress full but I got a camera right on time and so I took many textural pictures and my main two that I picked was I took a picture of my hula implements and that would be of the ipu the hallow odd gourd, puili bamboo sticks, and the uli uils the feather and I chose to take a picture of that it's because hula has been apart of my life for 4 years and I love doing it. Then my second picture was of a 

Pom tree and I chose to take a picture of that because in hula you have to be graceful like a Pom tree swaying in the wind and so that's why I took a picture of it. If I had to do it another time but 10 times better I would've token better quality like the place where I took the picture and for my profile I would've been taken better if my hair was down now it because it would have looked way better. And I could have done so much better with the effects on the whole thing but I didn't want times the whole thing up and it's because while I was exploring the effect on photo shop it didn't turn out the way I wanted it to and so I just left it the way I wanted it to.

HDR Photography

HDR photography means (high definition range) and its taking more than one picture and you have to try and not to move the camera, and so theres a button on a camera or you just have to look on the settings and you have to change the exposure compensation and you take more than one of the same thing. And so when your ready merge the pictures together you would use photo shop. I really like the lesson on the HDR and all the rest of the lessons to it was very cool that Mr. Sanderal that he takes the time and effort to tell us when we were doing the critiques it was nice. If I were able to use an HDR pic I would definitely use it and try to remember step by step.

Well yes it is very different its because well I think you have to take more than one picture and merge and the way it turns out I just love the way it looks it gives me the goose bumps. And when I did mine it turned the way my expectations hoped so like for instance the HDR on the right it took me about 30 minutes to and hour just trying to figure out what i should take a picture of and so yes its kind of cheesy but did the best I could.
And finally explaining why I took these pics but mostly I really love to superimpose and the reason why was I chose to do the superimpose like that is because I imagined it would turn out to be ugly but it technically I loved it and the rest of my picture the main point had to be surreal. And for me its very.

Movie Trailer Critique

Well my group and I we all had fun on the Movie Trailer project .So our movie trailer title was called "Gone and Forgotten". And it was about this girl who's name is Courtney Evermore and she was fading out of existence and the only people who remembered her was her little sister Taylor Evermore and her best friend Lily. Well to contribute to making the movie trailer is Jhoanna Domigo ,Ashley Alfiler and Eden Tjarks . I was the lead playing Courtney Evermore, Ashley was the little sister Taylor Evermore, and as Eden Tjarks Courtney's best friend. And one of my favorite thing with my group, was in one scene had we had the best idea ever to shoot up in the tree when Lily and Taylor were talking about Courtney and in trying to find her.

What I would want to say we didn't have all technical requirements its because of all the time we had we were procrastinating we only had so much but so little. Its because we had like 1/3 of the film that fit with our movie trailer and so while I was doing my thing the team was filming and so we made it and I was relived but we didn't have 1 minute and 30 seconds through 2 mins. But I think me and my team did really well. We had so much trouble to go through and the thing was my team and I couldn't meet up like all four group members we only usually at the time only had three team members.

And finally we had a class critique so our group and were the first group that was critiqued. Even though I saw many good movie trailer films and they were like better than awesome it was like 110% better. Even though we had 0 votes it was a fun experience to try once and a while. But I think me and my team did good but I still think we could have done way much better. And if our had a second chance I would improve by using the time me and our team had more wisely instead of waiting to long and doing at the last minute.  

Movie Poster Promo

Our movie is about a young girl, and Her name is Courtney Evermore. The movie trailer is called " Gone And Forgotten". The contribution to making the movie trailer is Jhoanna Domigo, Ashley Alfiler, And Eden Tjarks.So in scene 2 this is where Courtney is already disappeared and so Courtney's sister Taylor Evermore and Courtney's best friend were sitting up in a tree.And so we did a wide, med, close. And what we did was I was the one directing the scene and so we did something that no one the could imagine this happening. So I climbed up the tree and so my helper handed me the camera and so video taped them sitting up in the tree and so that was the close it was so cool but my thought was like "Oh my gosh I'm seriously going to drop the camera out of the tree" and I was like screaming my head off. But we did  we did it. And this is one thing was my teacher Mr.Sanderal hes was looking at my co-partner's computer he saw me up in a tree and he said "don't fall out of the tree".

Okay so when my group tried to decide on what we were going to do for the movie trailer. So we did it based on being inadvisable and so we just made up our character so we made out as Courtney Evermore and so we went on saying weird and laughable titles for the movie trailer and so we chose "Gone And Forgotten".

And so what my teacher assigned us was, all four group members have to create a movie poster and we all  have to chose one. And so one of his questions was "Why is kerning so important ?". Well I would answer it by, kerning is so important its because of so you know how you see a movie trailer preview and when it comes out of the movie theater you see the movie. And so when you see the poster in theaters the titles is what I mean. So the spacing in the between the letters is so important.

So the effects that I used in my movie poster was a lot of text so I used a gradient, drop shadows and bevel & emboss. And many more requirements. And so to the right is our progress my team and I. And we are the first team on the top.#1

And I really loved doing the movie trailer and I hope in the near future our teacher will make a project on doing the actual movie trailer and I think it would be a fun but difficult experience. It helped on the critiques he gave us was very useful. And now my team and I can now do what we need

Proactive or Procrastination ?

This one that everybody knows about me is I do everything at the last minute like when I get ready in the morning, my mom has to still tell me more than 3 times to get ready. And like when I'm done getting dressed my mom ready to leave in her car and I couldn't even get to eat breakfast. Its so hard and all just the start of me and all my friends with stacks and stacks of homework and projects. Once I had to finish three of my projects for Social Studies, and English I finished it by the last minute by staying up all night long. And one more thing I have a hard time focusing and when I first get home its just eat, sleep, watch TV, then I check what I'm doing for the week.

My amount of free time is like so little its because I'm that kind of kid that always has a after school circular activity so like I have Hula Practice on Mondays, Thursdays, Saturdays , and Sundays then my shows on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday. And so technically I'm busy for the whole entire week. And sometimes I end up crashing down on my bed and I forget to do all my homework and assignments.And I always end up doing it in study hall. My level of productivity is so low to its because like now for instance I'm a sixth grader and when I come home after a tiring day of school I eat, check what I have for homework, watch TV , and then I usually go to sleep. And when I wake up its like 6:00pm then I have to clean my whole entire house by the time my mom and dad get home with my brothers from his baseball or football practice.So technically I have to do my homework and assignments at night while my family is still eating dinner.

I would change so much if I could, like for example my habit of sleeping right after when I get home I could change that with doing my homework right away. And I could cut my hula classes shorter so I can get the rest that I need. And on Sunday nights I could sleep early as I can so I wont have to be all moody on Monday morning. And I could ask my teachers if I need help and what I'm missing so I could possibly try all straight A's. I can do all these things and I want to make a change and I hope to do better

My visual poem was about was my life as a hula dancer its one of my life greatest hobbies I started at of age 8 or 9 and I have been dancing with Halau Hula O Leilani Rivera Bond for 3 years. I took many lessons and today I dance in public with my Halau on Wednesday, 5pm  at the Coconut Market Place and on Saturday at 1pm . I am really proud on how my video turned out and I really like the effects well all the effects in final cut pro. This was my first video done by myself and  I absolutely had a so much thing going on in my mind that day when I started  writing I just couldn't stop writing. 

I took the best photos that I could just with my I phone and it turned out really well. And during my practices I tried to upload the best and well quality videos but sometimes it didn't upload to Google Plus.

I think the effects in my video are really impressive I have many sounds of drum pounding and one whole video cut into little bits and inserted to empty places. I think the audience will like my video and so in their heads they'll say "Wow now I really want to learn about the Hawaiian Culture". And I think my mom and dad would actually be so proud. The mood of the people would, well in my thought the GT students will like my video.

The thing I could have done better was the videos that I was supposed in part of my visual poem I was supposed to take videos of my practices. I would try more next time to focus more on the b-roll. I would've done so much better and if I had a second chance I'd put more than a lot like "I bit of more than I could chew" that's how much effort that it takes to get a 4 out of 4.

Shaday Thomas Kasiah Vercelli

We did a lot, to let the people on Kauai why gluten can effect people. So we made an interview with Sweet Marie's Hawaii, its a Bakery/Cafe its a gluten free its everything that she makes that is gluten free So like for example she can bake you a wedding cake she can make that in a dairy free version that is so delicious. She said and I quote "Anyone and everyone from all over the world can come here to eat at Sweet Marie's Hawaii. We wouldn't have made it that far to 3 to getting into Hiki No with out the help and support of Kasiah Vercelli the best helpful 7th grader on our team. It's been such a great experience she taught us all she knew on what to do with camera techniques and editing tips and tricks . 

I was really happy when the film festival came up every group showed their work and what their video was about.  Our video turned out so great. Even though the most stress went to our great 7th grader.When we did the last finishing touches to our video we clicked that import button it turned out just the look of it I didn't really notice it at first that it was a finish and published, it seemed like a famous person that directs movies and stuff did it but 6th & 7th graders did it. I thought we did a job well done but it was more that it felt like its something more than that like I'm just thinking in my head I'm just like " whoa we just made our own news story ".

While we were watching and commenting how great they were all period 5 had to rate each video and when the film festival was done we tallied up all the scores and we looked at the scores me and my partners looked at each other we made it into the top 3 I was screaming with joy inside of my head I couldn't believe it. I felt sad for the rest of the teams that didn't make it I still feel so proud of KMS period 5 GT students. Good job on you projects everyone !!!
