Hey guys and welcome back to my blog. So this will be my last blog post of my school year but don't worry I'll b back in 2 months and time does fly fast. So this weeks project is music videos and this is the project that I have been waiting for this whole year. And if you are wondering why this project is at the ending of the year its because during the whole year we learn a lot of things in GT and our teacher wants  to see what we can do in our  last few weeks in school. So continuing on with the question  Explain the storyline & how it relates to your lyrics. Well our song is Sit Still Look Pretty by Daya. And our storyline is about a girl and a boy, they break up and the girls friends they come to comfort her and during the whole song it tell the story and we are the ones helping her get over the break up and then in the ending she forgets the boy. So me and Meleana are playing the parts of the 2 good friends and Ashley is the main character. So basically our story is about a break up story. And going more into depth about our music video so we planned for this music video to take place at
Kapa'a Park. So the scenes that we did was the main point of our story which was the break up scene and that part was really hard to  work on and that's because we have a a lot going from a Wide to Medium to a Close. Though it wasn't really that hard to film. And I think this music video was actually really fun to do.

Describe your favorite fast-edit montage sequence. Well my favorite fast editing montage would be when in the middle where we did this scene with brooms and ya it just looked really cool when we edited everything together. Also what I what I really like about our who video is I think we have more bloopers than our entire video. It was so fun during all the time filming. And as you can see the pictures on the right side of my blog that's all the fun we had as  a group.

How does this music vid showcase your best work? In our music video it will show what we can do with the DSLR camera's. Like it shows the new camera techniques that we've learn ed through out the year. And we can produce high quality shot with no shakiness and blurs in the shots. And in IMovie we show what we can do with transitions, affect with the green screen and other things to. Also another thing that we will show case in our video is a photo shop document of the three of us. Credit goes to Ashley cause it turned our looking that it matches with our who music video. Finally I would like to say that goodness were going to be 8th graders when I get back to you guys. For me I feel old but I act like a kid. And see you guys when I get back from summer break.

Hey guys and welcome back to my blog and let's get started. We are starting of with this Tell us about your teammates personal character traits & how your story exaggerates who they are ? And like you must be thinking "Wait I don't get it''. Well let me explain these past two week we have been learning how to animate things in Photoshop. Like in my last blog post I explained how I made my gif. it's like that but it just has a little more requirements.

Continuing on to the question well there are three people on my team which is first our team captain Christina. And Christina's personality is she's really helpful in real life and we exaggerated that by making her Josiah best friend in our animation and her role is that she's supportive about Josiah playing soccer and she helps him through out the whole thing to helping him train to be a great soccer player to their games. Now to our main character Josiah in real life he's really great at soccer. But we decided to change it up a little like this story is to explain that you have to work hard to get where you want to be in life. And so Josiah in the animation we exaggerated his character by he's a clumsy, quite kid and he wants to start off the school year good and so his friend Christina she mentioned soccer. And the whole story went on from their. And the last character Me well in this animation I play the supportive coach and I tell Josiah not to give up. And in real life I'm really like that with my two brothers I support them in their sports and they also come and watch me preform as support too.

Well what I think in a group with 6th graders its really fun because my team mates their just new and just helping them was great. And what I think our level of productivity would be around 80 percent and that's because I don't want to say any name but one of them were very not time consuming. Our biggest challenges was getting all our scene done in time and I got my scene done and my other teammate finish two perfect senses also but we needed a 12 seconds more. Though my team got it done and we turned it in on time. Well I think my best moment of production was when I was working on my last scene and I accomplished 200 frames that would equal to 20 seconds part of our video and it was perfect I loved every second of it. And I think my teammates were really fun to work with and I cant wait to work again in this certain type of project.

Character Development

Hey guys and welcome back to my blog so today I am going to talk about this topic "What kind of person are you?" I am the type of person that always is really bubbly and what that means is your always cheerful high spirt. there is another part to the essay to it is What humorous or relatable imperfections do you have? And I have many funny imperfections like when someone says something even though its not really that important I just do this exaggerated gasp and its so funny. There is also time where its really quiet in my classes I just have the urge just to start laughing or talking. Add there's this thing that I do when I'm board and I do this when I'm standing out of no where i just start taking these big step and I say a word while I'm doing but I don't know how to spell it. And one more thing what I also like to do when I'm board in my classes I just like to make funny faces at my friend and just we make faces at each other until one of us starts laughing.

So our topic or our story is about, How a boy named Josiah is just starting out in a new sport and he's really bad at it at first but with the help and support of of his best friend Christina and his inspiring coach Julie he can make it thorough. And we plan to exaggerate our character traits by first we play around to see what we can work with then we'll probably go on from there. And I think going into our next project it's not going to be that easy so cause we are very limited to what we have. 

Well staring out was we have three pictures of our whole body against a green screen then we had to face three different ways front, back, and side. Then when we got our photos we go into photo shop and we use a tool called the quick selection tool and what it does is that when you use it for selecting what you want to be in it. And what we were instructed to do is that, now that we have our photos is that we have to cut out our selves in the program. Then the next step is that we have to save is as a certain file. And then we are done we have it as Blank_Front we have to make another copy of your front but named differently Blank_Character and if you are wondering about the other two pictures you don't really need them in this project so you can set that aside. So now that you are in photo shop you find your animation window and when you find it you can make your self move in funny ways like mine on the top of my page on the right hand side.And there is also this thing called puppet warp and that's why in this project my hands look weird. And what you can do with puppet warp is you place pins on your body, not on your actual body but the one in Photoshop. So just one more tip just remember when your move yourself just a bit at a time remember to make a new frame. Then when you are done you can press play. That's not all you can also add in a background all you do is just drag and drop your background of your choice and then you have you finished product. And if you guys are wondering if I like the way my finished product turned out, yes I really like the way it turned out even though I had a little bit of complications I made it through to finishing it on time

Hey guys and welcome back to my blog and today we are starting off with how do your keywords connect with your audience? And you guys must be thinking like what am I talking about and ill tell you. So we have this new project that Mr. Sandral gave us and it is MOV Film Festival. it is this project where you can choose to do either a movie trailer, animation, or a sitcom. And what me and my team choose was a movie trailer. So our keywords are Talent, Faith, Risk, and Sacrifice. Well those words connect to I bet so much of you in you life because many of you guys I bet have to sacrifice things in life. Also taking that risk.

Our overall message is about an ordinary boy with an amazing talent and its cooking, though him and his mother are poor and so they don't really have that much money to send him to school. And you must be thinking what's the message, well the message to our story is you wether your rich or poor you still can overcome any obstacle and what I mean by that is our main characters name is Andrew and one of the obstacles would have been that he wanted an education but he couldn't because they were poor. So like my home where my parents came from which is the Philippines they had a really hard life there. Like everyday my parents had to help my grandparents pluck rice in the fields just to earn enough money to eat 1 bowl of rice. My mom she had an education and she graduated college as a teacher. And that she had to do hard work for. And what i'm trying to really say is "To show people that working hard will get you far in life." That's where it got my mom now she wants me and my brother to have everything that we need to have a good life and unlike what she had, now she's still working her hardest to keep it up and also my grandparents. This is a big thank you.

Finally describe the biggest team challenge you faced ? And the answer to that question is well working in a team with two boys was really hard but I gotten used to the fact we coordinated good with each other. But continuing on the biggest team challenge was when we couldn't meet through out the time being. Though we figured out a solution. So during the weekend that we had to film what we did was I ended up filing what I can and I think I did pretty good. Another challenge that we faced is that we couldn't edit as much because other student had to finish their project too. Though we got through it all. And the finished product wasn't what I expected but I think it will get us a good grade just hoping. And see you guys on me next post.  

Tiny Spherical Worlds

Hey guys welcome back and what I will be talking about today is "what's the point of composite images, and isn't it one picture. Well it's not like if you read my last blog you can tell the project that I did was made up of a bunch of different pictures of that little boy. Well it't almost like composite images but just not quite the technical term. Like so say if your taking a panorama and your thinking in your head how your phone did that. Well I have some sort of what its doing to create the panorama when you pan you go from left to right, so what your camera is actually doing is taking pictures as you move from left to right. So thats why it turns out the way it turns. And so when your panning and you get the final result it's actually more than one it like what in the sentence I just explained. So here is some examples of composite images. These images are form my project that I just 
recently did. 

The difference between polar & spherical panos polar means the straight line joining the two points at which tangents from a fixed point touch a conic section. And for spherical its like a globe and its like the shape of the earth. So in our project what we did was for a polar what we did was, we did all the same instructions in photoshop and the only thing we did differently is we flipped the polar one upside down then what we did for the spherical was we just left it the way it was and when we went to change it we went to filter then put the effect on Polar Coordinates. And you still might be wondering whats the difference well one is.

Finally what makes your finished tiny worlds convincing? Well what makes my tiny worlds convincing is that I took these pictures all at home so I really didn't have that much to work with but it all turned out well and even better that I expected. Though I really think that I got better pictures in a different location I think I had more to work with. So continuing on what makes my tiny worlds convincing is the way how it looks and in terms on perspective for my Polar2 I thought I did a good job on. Also for my Sphere2 I want it to turn out as the expectations.

Hockney Style Joiners

Hey guys and welcome back. Well I'm starting off with, how David Hockney's photo montages are different from mine. Well he does more advanced photography and that's because he is a professional photographer and if you want to check out his work and I would have to say it amazing to look at. Well continuing on and for me I'm just starting to get a hang of learning how to do photomontages. also he does it more abstractly than we as GT students do, we have to take it in a precise way for now so we get the hang of it. And he takes more of landscape looking aft and for me I think its easy if you take a photomontage of a person.
And everyone has a unique way of doing photomontages.

Now I will be explaining how images can send positive or negative messages. Like for the phrasing a picture equals 1000 words. I really think its true and that's because and image can have a meaning of many things. Like just one picture it can easily offend someone, maybe it's because of their race or the way they look or act. And I think everyone has gone through a point in life when they want to change everything about them self's because of what they saw on a social media page that look cool to them. Also continuing on like commercials

Well my final photomontage is this little boy and his name is Arion. And well you might be wondering why I took my final 25 photos of him thats because he reminds me when I was little. And also I baby sit and he's one of the kids that babysit, so he just loving and caring. This also reminds me and my child hood. My parents also love kids and they especially love him.

2016 Aspirations

Well my 1st goal would be able to achieve without procrastinating through out the whole year and I already broke that rule but as of this month I'm starting it, and this whole month and that's because I have many huge projects in school that are a big part of my grades. And last year I did a lot of procrastination and even though I got good grades I still want to improve the way how I am around my work environment. My 2nd goal of this year would be not to be stressing out and have a positive attitude and I'm doing really well on this on because I'm always happy but on cretin days I just have days where I'm all like really pissed off of all the little things so yes I really would want to improve that. My 3rd goal is to be a better sister to my little brothers. And that's because for some reason my brother when I think of them I think that they look up to me as a responsible young leader. I really want to fulfill it. my 4th goal is to be more energetic and instead of being a couch potato and all I do is watch TV after school even though I have extra activities I like to dance hula & other things. And my last goal of the year is to be a straight A student for my last quarter grade.

The most important of my 5 goals it would be not to be a procrastinator and that's because really stressed out on my last days of last year during school just trying to finish up the most important thing that will make up my grade. And its a new year and I want to change no how I do my work like for my leaning environment.  And I would really like to achieve it so I could also achieve my 5th goal and that is getting all straight A on my report card and I would really love it. And there is another of my goals that I would also like to achieve and that's being a good sister because I really want to be a role model and a good one. Also not to show my parent but myself that I can be an overachiever.

Well the steps that I will take would be to sleep earlier and that's because I sleep really late and that's because I'm trying to finish work from my classes. So as students we are all of us 7th graders in KMS we are doing the science fair. So and that is one of my accomplishments that I want to achieve and that is to get and A on a project.
